Our Doctor
I was referred to Dr. Kamen after being treated for many weeks by different doctors for a swollen toe.  Dr. Kamen was able to promptly diagnose me with a bone infection, for which some people have to undergo an amputation.  Dr. Kamen performed surgery to remove the infected tissue, and used an advanced skin substitute to help heal the wound.  Thanks to Dr. Kamen, I still have that toe today.

I came to see Dr. Kamen because of increased pain when walking due to my bunions.  Dr. Kamen took the time to explain to me what caused my bunions, what he could do to correct them, and the alternatives to surgery.  I felt comfortable with his explanation, and decided to have surgery.  My experience was better than expected, and my foot looked, and felt so much better, that I came back later that year to have my other foot corrected.

I came to Dr. Kamen complaining of pain and swelling of my foot.  This was the first time I had felt anything at all in my foot in many years, because I have diabetic neuropathy, which has left my feet completely numb.  Dr. Kamen performed x-rays in his office and diagnosed me with Charcot foot, a degenerative joint disease associated with neuropathy, which can lead to severe destructive changes to the foot.  Dr. Kamen instituted a plan to halt the destructive process, and formulated a long-term plan to allow me perform my normal daily activities.
